Currently we invite to join:

 

SALES PROJECTS MANAGER

Main duties include: Sales, customer service and supervision of sold projects implementation. Work mainly with Western European industry clients. Work using platform Materize (www.materize.com), which is brand and structure of the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia platform (ISSP UL) for cooperation with industry.

 

Tasks:

  • Sales of services and projects for industry outside Latvia (primarily in Western Europe)
  • Visits to clients, exhibitions and events abroad
  • Organization of marketing activities and/or process management
  • Analysis of customer needs, definition of solutions and offers in coordination with ISSP UL specialists
  • Preparation of presentations and offers for clients, proposals process management
  • Organization of the contracts negotiation and closing process
  • Supervision and assistance to the projects implementation, including representation of clients interest

 

Requirements:

  • Education – Master or PhD in Physics, Material Science or Chemistry
  • Experience in selling services to business clients outside Latvia (at least 3 years)
  • Experience with total sales have exceeded 100 000 EUR per year
  • Experience in leading the preparation of a project proposal for industry (including at least one proposal for more than 30 000 EUR)
  • Good English language skills
  • Good communication, public speaking, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Goal oriented, resilient to resistance, good analytical skills
  • Easily adapt to work in new, unknown environments and countries
  • Good networking skills

 

As advantages will be considered:

  • Degree obtained in education is in physics and/or ISSP UL topics for work within the industry (photonics, thin films, sensors, functional materials etc.)
  • Work experience in company related to solid state physics or research institution (3-5 years)
  • Sales experience in Western Europe
  • Experience as sales team leader
  • Latvian / Russian language
